This glossary serves me to publicize my future profession. In my glossary, I included 20 words related to the field of electricity and engineering. The definitions of internet are robust and provide a general understanding of the meaning of words. In addition, it makes it possible to inform some people who have questions related to this profession. I am proud to have done so and I hope it will help guide you on the main aspects of this job.
Amount of Electricity
Noun group
The amount of electric charges displaced by electrons.
Example: The AMOUNT OF ELECTRICITY moved in this phase of the assembly was 15,000 coulombs.

Conductivity
Noun
The degree to which a specified material conducts electricity, calculated as the ratio of the current density in the material to the electric field that causes the flow of current.
Example: There is not enough CONDUCTIVITY of that water.

Electric Arc
Noun group
An electric arc, or arc discharge, is an electrical breakdown of a gas that produces a prolonged electrical discharge. The current through a normally nonconductive medium such as air produces a plasma; the plasma may produce visible light. An arc discharge is characterized by a lower voltage than a glow discharge and relies on thermionic emission of electrons from the electrodes supporting the arc.
Example: Today, low-pressure ELECTRIC ARCS are used in many applications. For example, fluorescent tubes, mercury, sodium, and metal halide lamps are used for lighting; xenon arc lamps are used for movie projectors.

Electric Charge

Electric charge is the physical property of matter that causes it to experience a force when placed in an electromagnetic field. Electric charge can be positive or negative. An object with an absence of net charge is referred to as neutral.

This energy is supplied by the combination of electric current and electric potential that is delivered by an electrical circuit.

Size of the electric current in amperes. The intensity corresponds to the electrical flow (electrons) of the circuit considered.

Low Voltage

An electrical potential not large enough to cause injury or damage if diverted. In electrical power systems low voltage most commonly refers to the mains voltages as used by domestic and light industrial and commercial.
Example: It has both a high and LOW VOLTAGE setting in this installation.

Magnetic Current

Magnetic current is, nominally, a current composed of fictitious moving magnetic monopoles. Magnetic currents produce an electric field analogously to the production of a magnetic field by electric currents.
Example: In power system, electronic current sensor instead of electro-MAGNETIC CURRENT transformer is the intending trend.
